Luke's First Easter

This year was our First Easter with Luke. With him only being 3 months, we didn't do an easter basket or anything like that. Our Easter festivities began with coloring eggs with cousins. Kevin got baby duty with Luke and Coralee, while I helped the older kids. Luke was asleep for most of the egg coloring, but we colored one in his honor :) On Sunday, we dressed him in his Easter outfit and went to church. After church, we had a fun night at Nana's and Papa's with a yummy Easter dinner and games! A successful first Easter indeed!

The New Bias Family Wheels

We've been talking for bit of trading my Ford Fusion in for a more roomy family car. On Monday night we were looking online and found a 2001 Audi Allroad Quattro 2.7T with 87,000 miles-it looked in great shape from the pictures. After doing some research on the cars safety and performance we decided to go look at it. Yesterday, we took it for a spin and decided this was a perfect car for us in this point in our life.
For all that want to know, here are some of the goodies:
- V6 Bi turbo (twin turbo)
- Two tone leather
- Sunroof
- Roof-rack
- Walnut interior trim
- Air suspension
- Quattro all wheel drive
- Heated front and rear seats
- Memory seats
- Alloy wheels
- New waranty for 3yrs or 36,000 miles
.....and many more

Happy Luke

Tonight I sat Luke in his bumbo seat and he was all smiles...in fact I think he got too excited...sorry I tried to edit it but my flip video isnt letting me.
It so fun to watch him experience things for the very first time. I love seeing his smiles, it just makes my day! I'm so very blessed to have both Kevin and Luke in my life, I couldn't ask for better husband or son!

Celebrating Grandma and Papa Ellefsen

This weekend we were able to Celebrate Kevin's grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. All those attending the celebration surprised Grandma and Papa with a beautiful painting of the Salt Lake Temple, where only 60 years ago they were sealed for time and all eternity. It was wonderful to celebrate their love, dedication, and commitment to each other over the last 60 years, they are a wonderful example to Kevin and I- I can only hope that we too someday ill be surrounded by 3 generations of our posterity as we celebrate 60 years of being married. Thank you Grandma and Papa for your amazing example.
This was also a great time for Luke to meet and play with his Great Grandparents and cousins.

Aquarium Field Trip!

Today we decided to check out the SeaLife Aquarium at Arizona Mills. Luke had a lot of fun, he loved all the colors of coral and fish. His favorite part was the walk-thru tunnel where you're surrounded by different types of fish, sharks, and stingrays. Kevin and I had a lot of fun too. : )
